What type microphone capsule is used?The microphone capsule used is an electret mic capsule having a sputtered mylar diaphragm and a build in FET preamp stage. The capsule diameter itself is 6mm while the acoustic frontend is a 7mm diameter. This correspondes to the IEC standard for 1/4" microphones. There is not detachable front grill.
